This organic Malbec hails from vineyards 3000-3900 feet above sea level.
It is undoubtedly savoury and earthy style; smoked spices, bacon fat, black pepper and leather, roasted herbs, fleur de sel and tar, with a good dose of wildberry flavours. It's a leaner style and again, the raw smoky and meaty character comes through in full force on the palate. Nice brightness in the mouth gives a needed lift.
Pair: roasted or grilled meats, hearty tomato-based pastas mushroom dishes.
